Got home today from our weekend glamping near St. Peter’s at Kayak Cape Breton ! All I can say is WOW!!! This hidden gem on the island is absolutely amazing! So peaceful, private and relaxing , with an absolutely beautiful view , beach , and the most accommodating hosts ! They supply you with everything you will need , bbq, multiple fire pits, bedding , pillows , cutlery, fresh water ,etc.. they even offer kayak / canoe / paddle board rentals ! I would highly suggest anyone who is looking for something fun and different to check them out ! I know we will definitely be going back (pretty sure it is our new favourite spot).

“so enjoyable to be immersed in nature”
It was so enjoyable to be immersed in nature with no noise from the streets and a beautiful view on the lake. There is a charming pathway leading to the yurt which felt so cozy and colorful, especially at night. You have all amenities you could need: bbq, campfire, toilets, even some electricity for charging and a hot shower is just 5 min away. We definitely recommend this little gem, you can see how much care the owners put in it!

“The location is breathtaking”
The experience was amazing. We found the listing very last minute and decided to book it. The hosts were very responsive and answered our questions about the property within an hour and they were very accommodating of our arrival time. At the property, we were greeted by Aaron who picked us up in their 4x4 to show us the lay of the land and bring us to the dome. The location is breathtaking with a private beach off the Atlantic ocean and a fresh water pond. The dome was unique and super cool. The hosts did an amazing job of equipping it with all the essentials: futons, water cooler, basic utensils, towels, and sheets. Everything was laid out in a thoughtful way inside the dome. Outside the dome they had a bbq for us to use as well as a fire pit. When we left the next day, we messaged the hosts to pick us up and Matt showed up to bring us to our car. I highly recommend this property to any traveller looking to get away from the city life or just to experience something new.

“You will see us again”
This place is absolutely beautiful, you are in the woods with so much privacy you wouldn't even know you were on resort. They have firepits on each spot and a few made out on the beach for your use. Kayaks for rent as well. Katie the owner is awesome, very helpful and friendly. Her handsome son gave us ride down to our dome, then even came the morning we were checking out to help with our stuff back to the truck and give us a lift back too and very helpful. Thank you both for everything we absolutely loved your place. You will see us again.
